INTERNSHIP

Section Title

At Avinash Law Offices, we are committed to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals by providing meaningful and intellectually enriching internship experiences. Our virtual internship program is designed to offer law students a practical understanding of legal research, drafting, and the workings of litigation practice, all from a flexible, remote environment.

About the Internship

Our internships are focused on legal research and drafting, with an emphasis on producing quality work that contributes to ongoing cases, legal publications, and internal knowledge-building at the firm. Interns may be assigned tasks based on:

  • Current legal matters being handled by the firm

  • Ongoing policy or legal research projects

  • Contributions to articles, papers, or legal resources

  • Specific legal interests and academic strengths of the candidate

This structure ensures a mutual alignment of interest between the intern and the firm, allowing for a rewarding experience on both ends.

Mode of Internship: Virtual

The internship is conducted entirely online, allowing law students from across India (and beyond) to participate without relocating. Interns are expected to maintain discipline, meet deadlines, and attend virtual review meetings as required.

Duration and Availability

  • Duration: Typically 4–6 weeks (flexible based on academic schedules)

  • Availability: Open throughout the year on a rolling basis

  • Start Date: Mutually decided after review of application

As our internship slots are limited and based on the current workload and supervisory availability, we encourage interested candidates to apply well in advance.

Eligibility

  • Law students enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program

  • Demonstrated interest in litigation, constitutional law, service matters, or property law

  • Strong legal writing and research skills

  • Prior experience with legal databases (e.g., SCC, Manupatra, Indian Kanoon) is preferred but not mandatory

  •

What Interns Can Expect

  • Mentorship from practicing advocates and legal researchers

  • Practical exposure to case-law analysis and procedural law

  • Feedback and guidance on drafting legal notes and briefs

  • Opportunity to contribute to policy research through our affiliated initiatives (e.g., Institute of Policy Research and Studies)

  •

Application Process

Interested candidates may apply by sending the following to 📩 adv.avns@gmail.com:

  • Updated CV

  • A short Statement of Purpose (max 250 words)

  • Preferred dates and duration

  • Areas of legal interest

Applications are accepted and processed on a rolling basis. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps.

Certificate of Completion

A certificate of internship will be issued upon successful completion of the internship, subject to the quality of work and engagement during the internship period.

At Avinash Law Offices, we believe that mentorship and meaningful work can shape the legal minds of tomorrow. We welcome motivated law students to apply and grow with us.
